susan & courtney visit!

Susan and Courtney came to town!!

they say they came to check out campuses and go to the ballet

but we know why they were really here

they missed us.

and we missed them so we were glad they came!

There's a carl bloch exhibit in the MOA right now that is absolutely amazing

so naturally we took them there, but this is from a war exhibit just downstairs.

kimball and i have been twice now and both times he stood next to this poster with such pride.

my husband still doesn't know he's white.

this is potentially a long story so i'll shorten it up. there are these sculptures outside the moa

obviously we had to go check them out and because courtney is a ballerina extraordinaire

i made them pose with this one. kimball tried too..

i'm so sad i didn't get any more pictures of us at the ballet or at dinner that night or at our apartment the next day! i don't know what was wrong with me, i must've been distracted with the hilarity that always accompanies any hicks family member :)

i love being a part of the hicks family and am so happy we got to spend a short weekend with them!!

because i am blessed.

oh, and we also introduced them to the provo bakery

susan now has somewhere other than the cotton shop to visit whenever in provo :)
